Updating Wallets

Update wallet balances in Zitcha by adding credit or debit notes, and see where to find transactions. This guide is for Network users with Wallet Manager permission.

Wallets can be updated by Network users with the Wallet Manager permission.

Prerequisites

  • You are logged in as a Network user
  • You have the Wallet Manager permission

If you cannot see Wallets or the More (⋮) menu, ask your admin to grant Wallet Manager.

Steps to Update a Wallet

  1. Go to Settings › Supplier, then select the Advertiser
  2. Click Wallets
  3. Find the wallet, click the More icon (⋮), and select View Transactions
  4. To add funds, click + Add Credit Note, enter an Amount and Description, then Save
  5. To deduct funds, click − Add Debit Note, enter an Amount and Description, then Save

Important: Once a credit note or debit note has been added, it cannot be removed.

Tips

  • Descriptions matter: Add clear reasons for credits and debits to simplify finance reconciliation later
  • Check dates: Make sure wallet Start and End dates cover the period you are funding
  • Audit trail: Use View Transactions to review all changes before creating new notes

Troubleshooting

  • Cannot add a note: Confirm you have Wallet Manager permission
  • Wrong wallet: Verify you selected the correct Advertiser and wallet
  • Need to reverse a note: Notes are permanent, create an offsetting note instead
