Notification Prefernces
This article explains Zitcha's Notifications Preference Centre, including current capabilities, supported alert types, user configuration options, and what to expect in future updates.
Overview
The Notifications Preference Centre is Zitcha’s system for informing users about important, time-sensitive actions within the platform.
Notifications are available across both Planning and Orders workflows, giving users flexibility to decide when and how they want to be notified.
The system helps:
- Streamline approval workflows
- Reduce manual follow-ups
- Keep users informed of key actions across campaign planning and order execution
What’s Currently Available

| In-App Alerts | Delivered directly within the Zitcha interface via the notification tray. |
| Email Alerts | Sent to users based on individual notification preferences. |
| Notification Preferences Page | Allows users to manage how they receive alerts (in-app and/or email). |
| Role-Based Targeting | Alerts are only sent to users with permissions to act. |
| Branded Email Styling | Email alerts reflect your network’s branding, if configured. |
Currently Supported Alert Types
Planning Notifications
For planning workflows, users can control both in-app and email notifications.
Ad Set Approval Required
- Trigger: When an advertiser submits an ad set for approval
- Audience: Network users with ad set approval permissions
- Delivery: In-app and email (if enabled by user)
Additional Notifications
Advertiser users with permission to update plans can opt to receive in-app and/or email notifications when:
- Ad sets are approved or rejected
- Reserved ad sets submitted for re-approval are approved or rejected
Network users opted into Ad Set Approval alerts will also be notified when a reserved ad set is submitted for re-approval.
Orders Notifications
For Orders, users can toggle email alerts only for the following events:

| Live Order Edited | Notifies when a live order is edited. |
| New Order | Notifies when a new order is created. |
| Order Accept Changes | Alerts when order changes need to be accepted. |
| Order Approved | Alerts when an order is approved. |
| Order Completed | Notifies when an order is completed. |
| Order Edited | Notifies when an order is edited. |
| Order Live | Notifies when an order goes live. |
| Order Rejected | Alerts when an order is rejected. |
| Order Review Requested | Notifies when an order review is requested. |
How to Manage Your Notification Preferences
Retailers (Network Users)
- Open Settings from the left-hand navigation.
- Select the Notifications tab.
- Use the toggles to enable or disable email and in-app alerts.
Advertisers
- Click the bell icon in the top right corner.
- Choose More options (⋮) → Notification Preferences.
- Use the toggles to enable or disable email and in-app alerts.
Settings are saved automatically and applied immediately.Only alerts you are eligible to receive (based on your permissions) will appear in your preferences.
What’s Coming Next
The Notifications system is being developed in stages.
Future releases are planned to support:
- Campaign schedule change alerts
- Budget threshold notifications
- Delivery issue and performance flag alerts
- Plan-level approval and publication updates
